Why the heck not? Seriously. When you create a time capsule, you are creating an experience for yourself. One that will hopefully be filled with nostalgia. You will be able to see first hand how you’ve evolved over the years, not just physically but mentally as well. Nothing changes a person quite like time. We are going to guess that you won’t be wearing the same clothes, have the same life goals, or views on the world. So, what better way to reflect on life than by opening a capsule full of your past?

Well – We can’t tell you exactly what to put into your time capsule because we aren’t you. At least, we are pretty sure we aren’t? However, we have compiled an EXAMPLE page that has some helpful suggestions to get the creative juices flowing! The most important thing is to not overthink it and know that future you will likely enjoy whatever it is you choose to include.

The beauty of life is that sometimes unexpected change occurs. With that said, you might not live in your current home by the time your capsule is due for delivery. Fortunately, we’ve given you the option to receive a reminder email every-so-often to update your contact information.  Although we prefer to be as out of sight and out of mind as possible, we know the comfort of a friendly reminder can go a long way. On top of that, you are allowed to include additional contacts in your profile. This way we can reach out further if we’re unable to get ahold of you by the time your capsule is due. 

We take security VERY seriously and we want you to understand that your information is extremely safe with us. Other than our staff and necessary partners, no one will have access to your capsule nor any of the contact information that is provided to us. Our Privacy Policy should give you a more in depth rundown on our stances. If you have any further questions regarding this though, feel free to shoot us a message. We understand your concern. 

Yes – In order for you to create and own a time capsule, you must be over the age of 13. If you don’t meet the age requirement you aren’t out of luck though. All you need to do is have a parent/guardian sign up under their name and go through the process with you. Feel free to sit back and relax while they do all the work!

Yes – and no. If you’d like to purchase a second (or seventeenth) time capsule from us, you must create a second account using a different email. Unfortunately, you are only allowed one time capsule per account at the current time. We know this can be frustrating but we hope to introduce this feature at some point in the future. If you’d like to make a large purchase of capsules (10+) in one order, feel free to reach out to us and we will help you out.

Awww. You noticed! How very sweet of you. It really isn’t anything fancy though, it basically means we just recently opened to the public and you might see some bugs or glitches along the way. We are still trying to make the experience as perfect as possible and some things might change in the process. The good news for you though, is that our pricing during our beta period is discounted compared to what it will be upon our grand opening. So, feel free to have a drink on us tonight! 

Agh! Unfortunately once we bury your time capsule deep in San Junipero, we can’t resurrect it until it’s time to wake up on your door step. So, don’t forget to double-check everything is exactly how you want it before you hit the submit button. We know this sucks but we do it so your memories remain unfaded.
